SCHOOL MEALS - LUNCH MENUS & FREE SCHOOL MEALS
Menu
School meals are provided through EATS catering - our cook trials each new menu for two rotations then amends according to feedback from parents, carers and pupils.
Our current menu is:
-
Hot lunches (note that our cook will provide pizza on all Mondays, not the Quorn burger on Week 1)
-
Packed lunch (note that our cook will provide rolls not wraps)
Once our cook has trialled these menus, we may issue an alternative if specific dishes have not proved popular.
The school also offers a jacket potato as an alternative. If your child requires this, they need to let their teacher know at Registration. We can also offer sausages on a Friday instead of fish - if you'd like this, please let the office staff know.
Paying for your child's lunch
Meals cost £2.30 per day. Bardwell is a cashless school which makes for a more streamlined process. You can pay using your Arbor Account.
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal
This is known as the Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM).
Your child may be eligible for free school meals throughout their schooling.
