SEVERE WEATHER PROCEDURES

Should the school need to close due to severe weather overnight the decision will be made by 7.00 am.
​
We will endeavour to keep the school open but should we need to close, it will be for the safety of the pupils and staff.
​

We will also send an SMS message to all parents/carers on the Arbor texting service and post it on our TWITTER feed.
School bus/taxi - In the event of conditions deteriorating rapidly during the day and the possible need to transport children early from school, we will inform parents of the early arrival of the school bus or the need to collect children directly.
​
Others – Parents will be contacted and encouraged to collect their children at their earliest convenience.
​
Please advise the school of any emergency closure arrangements you have in place for your child to either go home with another parent or to walk to a relative or friend and please ensure your child is aware of these arrangements.
​
Children will be dismissed at normal school time unless collected earlier.
