Our School Community...
Bardwell Book Exchange
For World Book Day, we asked for our school community to donate books that their children no longer read. We wanted every child to take home a 'new to them' book for free. Thank you for the wonderful and plentiful donations. The children chose a book for their friends and wrapped them up as a surprise. They then enjoyed sharing their new book with their adults from home in the afternoon.

Bardwell Church
To celebrate Harvest Festival this year, the children and their families donated food items to a local charity, called 'Meet and Eat'. The charity is based in Thetford and provides meals for those who need it. The food items were initially brought to Bardwell Church, where we enjoyed a reflective, Harvest service.
We visit the church at least once a half-term for a community service. Our collective worship team help to lead the service with Bible readings and prayers. We also enjoy singing in the church and invite parents and the community to join us.

The church also runs a regular event called messy church, which is really popular amongst our families. Please contact bardwell@tilian.org.uk for more information.

Bardwell Community Day
Our recent community day saw children, parents and volunteers from across the community coming together for a day of painting, sweeping, building and filling a skip. Everyone got stuck in! As well as this, there was plenty of time for cups of tea, lemon drizzle cake and lots of laughter!
